Next Event: Raid The North Extreme

The race will be held in the Prince Rupert Area from June23-30 2007. . Raid the North Extreme is the pinnacle of adventure racing in Canada. It is a six-day, non-stop challenge, designed to give teams a true expedition-style race experience. The course will be technical, with very challenging navigation, long stretches of remote wilderness and plenty of decision-making.

Over 6 days, co-ed teams of four will navigate a 450km expedition by canoe, kayak, mountain bike, fixed ropes, and on foot. Armed with only maps and a compass, they must select their own routes between checkpoints, often navigating more than 75kms with no course markings.

So far, twenty three teams are officially registered for the race. Teams originate from across North America and the world, including Australia and Singapore.

Raid The North Extreme is gearing up to be an event which will not be soon forgotten in the Pacific Northwest!
